Why a Climate Action Observatory?
Unprecedented heat waves, floods, and droughts are affecting communities around the world. We are all increasingly feeling the impact of climate change. As we recover from the coronavirus pandemic, there is an opportunity for governments, businesses, and citizens to align their climate action with what we all need. We cannot let this opportunity pass us by.

What is the Carbon Integrity Index (CIX)?
The CIX, or Carbon Integrity Index, is a methodology developed by the Climate Action Observatory in collaboration with the Carbon Footprint team at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The goal is to evaluate the integrity and performance of an entity or project's carbon emissions management through a set of key indicators.
